据JACS官网，2025年诺贝尔化学奖得主、美国加州大学伯克利分校Omar Yaghi 教授，以及中国科学院院士、中国科学院化学研究所万立骏研究员两位副主编已升任JACS执行主编。与此同时，中国科学院院士、中国科学院大连化学物理研究所张涛研究员，以及国家杰青、清华大学张强教授已于近期出任JACS副主编。
《美国化学会志》(Journal of the American Chemical Society，简称JACS)由美国化学会于1879年创办，迄今已有140余年的历史，是全球化学领域最具影响力的顶尖学术期刊之一。对于从事化学相关研究的研究人员，JACS可谓是化学界的“圣杯”，被誉为“每个材料与化学人梦寐以求能发一篇论文的地方”。
JACS是开放获取期刊，每周出版一次，每年51期，每年出版约19000页的文章、通讯和展望。发表高影响力的化学、材料等学科的研究成果，JCR分区为Q1，中科院分区为1区，文章处理费为4000美元/篇，约合人民币28,484元。

万立骏，1957年7月出生于辽宁大连，日本归侨，物理化学家，中国科学院院士、发展中国家科学院院士。现任第二十届中央委员，第十四届全国人大常委会委员、华侨委员会副主任委员，中国侨联顾问 ，中国科学院化学研究所研究员、重点实验室主任，中国化学会第三十一届理事会理事长。
1982年万立骏毕业于大连工学院机械系。1987年获得大连理工大学硕士学位。1996年获得日本东北大学博士学位。1998年入选中国科学院百人计划，并回到中国。1999年担任中国科学院化学研究所研究员。2000年获得国家杰出青年科学基金资助。2004年至2013年担任中国科学院化学研究所所长。2009年当选中国科学院院士。2010年当选第三世界科学院院士。2015年至2017年担任中国科学技术大学校长。2017年5月至2025年5月任中国侨联党组书记，中国侨联第九、十、十一届委员会主席 。
万立骏主要从事电化学扫描隧道显微学（ECSTM）、电化学和表面科学的交叉学科的研究。
